A Paris law firm that became a legal technology company
JuriPro began in 2012 as JuriPro SARL, a commercial practice advising French companies on corporate restructuring, share transfers and dissolutions. The problems we automate today are the ones we used to solve by hand.
Our story
Fourteen years of the same problem, seen from both sides
JuriPro SARL was founded in Paris in 2012 by a small team of corporate lawyers. The work was unglamorous and relentless: company dissolutions, share transfers, statutory filings, and the contract review that sat underneath all of it.
By 2019 the firm was reviewing several thousand agreements a year for mid-market clients. The bottleneck was never legal judgement — it was the hours spent locating the provisions that judgement needed to be applied to. Junior lawyers were spending their careers finding clauses rather than arguing about them.
In 2021 we started building internal tooling to shorten that first pass. In 2024, after two years of running the tooling against our own matters, the firm restructured: the advisory practice was wound down and JuriPro became a technology company with a global client base, keeping its French entity, its name and its obsession with getting the underlying document right.
We are not a startup that hired a lawyer as an afterthought. We are lawyers who learned to build, and the difference shows up in the details — in what we refuse to automate as much as in what we do.
Mission
Make good legal analysis affordable enough to be ordinary
Rigorous document review has always been available to organisations that can pay for a large team of associates. Everyone else has been rationing it.
Our mission is to close that gap: to give a three-partner firm in Lyon, an in-house team of two in Manchester and a global department in New York access to the same quality of first-pass analysis, at a price that lets them use it on every matter rather than the ones with the biggest budget.
That means being honest about the limits of the technology. JuriPro produces analysis, not advice. Every finding is anchored to the passage it came from precisely because we expect a qualified lawyer to check it — and we design for that review rather than trying to make it unnecessary.

Client documents are never used to train shared models. Regional data residency, customer-managed keys and full deletion on request.
